Amanda has been tattooing for over a year and a half, beginning her journey during her sophomore year of college when she decided to pursue tattooing outside the classroom. After completing her tattoo apprenticeship, she joined the team at OC Tattoo, where she continues to develop her craft and build her portfolio.

Her tattoo work leans toward illustrative and semi-realism, while her personal artwork has a more whimsical style. She often draws inspiration from nature, different artistic eras, and traditional art styles, bringing those influences into her custom designs.

The Tattoo Experience

For Amanda, every tattoo should feel like it belongs on the person wearing it. She works closely with each client to understand their ideas and create a design that fits both their vision and their natural body structure.

Amanda often freehands designs directly onto the body, giving her more control over placement, movement, and flow. She’s known for having a light touch and creating a comfortable, easygoing experience throughout the tattoo process. Good conversation is always welcome—think of it as a tattoo session with a little tattoo therapy mixed in.

Amanda does not tattoo AI-generated artwork or copy tattoos created by other artists. Instead, she’s happy to take inspiration from your ideas and create something original and customized specifically for you.

Beyond Tattooing

One of Amanda’s favorite parts of tattooing is being surrounded by other artists. She loves the lively, welcoming atmosphere at OC Tattoo and being part of a space filled with different artistic styles and perspectives that continually inspire her own work.

Outside the studio, you’ll probably find her crocheting, drinking tea, watching trashy dating shows or cooking competitions with her family, and drawing inspiration from nature and art history.
